When Girls Learn to Lead


TGFT Peer Advocate Training


We Prepare students to put their education into action and to be forces for good. To learn and to lead. We advocate for girls' rights on International Day of the Girl and every day.

We sponsor girls with the greatest need and highest potential who are determined to excel.

We develop their confidence, advocacy, and leadership skills at The Girls Center by providing engaging learning experiences. 95% of TGFT students rank in the top 20 % of their class. 82% of TGFT students serve in leadership roles in schools.78% of students are first-generation high school graduates.


In 2022 TGFT students and staff impacted over 10,000 youth in life skills, sexual reproductive health and rights, gender equity and gender-based violence.


They volunteer in our After School Program for primary school students at The Girls Center.


They teach in local primary schools.



The serve as Teacher Assistants in Babson College's Youth Entrepreneur Program.



They train youth in sexual education through our Peer-to-Peer advocacy Program.
